Project Details
Description
This CRC-P project combines the Australian developed SPEE3D advanced
manufacturing technology, CDU’s engineering and training expertise, and the
real-world, remote-area construction experience of P. W. Baxter &
Associates. The project partners combine specialist skills and knowledge to
address two industry problems within the area of Advanced Manufacturing:
1) the opportunity for improved access to specialised goods in remote areas/communities
and 2) the opportunity for increased flexibility in current metal manufacturing processes. It is proposed to solve these problems using the revolutionary advanced metal manufacturing technology developed in Australia by SPEE3D (www.spee3D.com).
