Description
1. Support Traditional Owners to maintain their Traditional Knowledge, cultural sites and values associated with Sea Country in Australian Marine Parks.
2. Enhance the capacity of Traditional Owners to engage in marine park management, including leading and participating in research and monitoring projects within Sea Country in Australian Marine Parks.
3. Develop and implement management solutions to help enhance the health, ecological resilience, and sustainable economic use of the Australian Marine Park network, including in the face of climate-related changes and other emerging pressures.
4. Support research and monitoring that aligns with Australian Marine Park science priorities and will help inform the 10-yearly statutory review processes for marine park management plans, and protection of marine park values.
