Description
Darwin Centre for Bushfires Research (DCBR) staff will undertake burnt area and vegetation map collation for the North Kimberley. The associated GIS files and derived spatial data-sets to be provided for improved fire management and reporting.
• Landsat derived fire scar mapping for six years (2019-2013) for 6 Landsat scenes as shown in figure 1.
• Sentinel 2 derived fire scar mapping for 2020 at three temporal periods; Early, Middle and Late Dry Season.
• Vegetation Mapping, initial work collating existing vegetation mapping for the region of interest.
