Project Details
Description
The MRFF grant submission will focus on how to facilitate rapid, national scale-up of Birthing on Country Services to make a significant impact upon multiple Closing the Gap outcomes. We aim to achieve this by using a decolonising, participatory action research (DPAR) methodology using both the World Health Organization steps for scale up and our own RISE Framework. If successful, the grant application will leverage funding from multiple studies to support the translation into practice in 3 geographically and culturally diverse sites, Nowra (NSW), Alice Springs (NT) and Galiwin’ku (NT).
