Description
The collaborative project will occur over three phases.
Phase 1 An NT Blue Carbon Review, Spatial Assessment and Site Prioritization
Phase 2 Trade-off Analysis, Communication and Research Plan
Phase 3 Knowledge Gaps and Applied Research
Phase 3 will be a co-designed research program that enables the NT to address
the key knowledge gaps that are currently limiting its potential to engage in the
carbon market. This will include quantification of key metrics that are relevant
for the NT and contributing to method development for submission for national
accreditation by the Commonwealth.
