Description
Nikki’s current PhD research explores how tourism can align with its higher potentials and support the processes and goals of reconciliation in Australia. She adopts a critical Indigenous methodological approach with a grounded theory research design to provide a framework for culturally appropriate and collaborative research practices, the outcomes of which will contribute valuable understandings of how Indigenous cultural tourism can play a role in achieving a more equitable, just and sustainable Australia.
