NESP 2 Marine and Coastal Hub (UTAS)

The Marine and Coastal Hub will build on the experience of its partners to deliver a national marine research program, with an overall vision to ensure management of Australia’s marine estate is informed by world class ollaborative and coordinated research that improves the wellbeing of the whole community. The Hub will build on well-developed end-user partnerships and community engagement, and will be enhanced by additional partners and revised governance structure, with the Northern, Western and South-eastern Nodes providing coverage of the entire Australian coastline and significant
regional capacity, and underpinning strong cross-Hub research links. The Marine and Coastal Hub will build upon the proven strengths of its national partners to deliver research that meets the needs and priorities outlined in the guidelines, and through co-design and consultation with end-users.
