The Northern Territory/Western Australia Drought Resilience Hub will be a cross state partnership of delivery and end-user organisations supporting primary producers and land managers to become more capable at managing drought conditions.It is the combination of skills, experience, networks and support services that will make this Hub much more than the sum of its parts. The Hub will act to coordinate and communicate activities and services across the region. It will deliver new services to support the existing suite of services and information.
1. Build a knowledge bank of programs already in place, evaluate their performance and identify key gaps
2. Review experiences of producers from recent droughts to improve resilience programming
3. Provide advice to existing organisations on how to improve resilience planning
4. Provide advice on how to improve forage management for drought resilience
5. Provide advice on how to improve water management for drought resilience
