ACIAR has supported a range of research projects that developed or supported ‘Innovation Platforms’ as the key mechanism for translating scientific information for sustainable use by relevant
stakeholders to support socio-economic improvements.
ACIAR is interested in examining the collective experience of the different innovation platforms to better understand a range of issues, focusing on the processes of innovation, the effectiveness of
IPs, how benefits can be scaled out and sustained, and how monitoring and evaluation can be improved.
