Project Details
Description
A pre-ESIA biodiversity assessment is required to determine if critical habitat values exist in Tibar Bay, either in the marine area and on terrestrial areas that may be developed for a new greenfield port. The study s required to confirm the likelihood of impacts on several species and related habitat that may occur in the Bay, the likely impact of Port development and operation on these values (if they exist) and measures required to avoid and/or minimise these impacts. The assessment will determine if critical habitat exists in the Bay in relation to marine turtles and dugong.
