Western Davenport Hydrostratigraphy

Research investigations, reports, electronic models and model guides. Specifically investigations and studies to address knowledge gaps and hydrogeological conceptualisations in the Western Davenport numerical surface water / groundwater model. This project will complement the current “Recalibration of Models in High Demand Water Systems”, particularly the Western Davenport model rebuild and recalibration, project (underway). The result will be a model capable of addressing basin and local scale hydrological systems to improve certainty around environmentally sustainable yields, identify water available for allocation and increase assurance of supply to large agricultural projects.

The project will be a collaboration between the Northern Territory Government (NTG) / Water Resources Division (WRD) and National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training (NCGRT, Flinders University South Australia and Charles Darwin University).
