Western Top End Near-Real-Time High-Resolution Mapping

The project is to produce and provide near-real-time (weekly) high-resolution burnt area mapping and associated spatial datasets for the WTE SFMP using the European Space Agency’s Sentinel-2 imagery at 20 metre resolution for the year 2023. The process uses available cloud-free Sentinel-2 satellite (S2) imagery from processed to produce high-resolution (20 m) burnt area visualisations. S2 satellites re-visit the same point on the earth every 5 days
