Objective: To investigate the current nursing curriculum design of undergraduate in universities of Traditional Chinese Medicine（TCM） as well as the potential influencing factors.
Methods: A comparative study design was used.
Results: Data of nursing curriculum design in 19 universities of Traditional Chinese Medicine were retrieved for analysis. The total hours of nursing curriculum of undergraduate were 2815.8±432.9；professional foundation courses were 787.4±211.8；professional courses were 717.0±189.8；courses about humanistic quality were 238.7±73.8；and courses about TCM were 289.9±130.9. The results showed that the current nursing curriculum design in universities of Traditional Chinese Medicine had already found a primary model. But some weakness can still be found：①an unobvious teaching characteristic of traditional nursing science；②a weakness of courses about humanistic quality； ③an imperfect structure of course type. And the potential influencing factors might be the unreasonable teaching stuff structure，inconsistency of teaching materials，human resource market，and the unclear Traditional Chinese Nursing orientation.
Conclusion: Problems and weaknesses can be found in current nursing curriculum design of undergraduate in universities of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Nursing educators should take measures to tackle with these points and built a more scientific and reasonable structure of curriculum design
