    Abstract

This paper describes some important modern mathematics, including problems as yet having nosolution, and a three-hour workshop for sharing them with young children. The activities are soself-contained that children understand what to do with very little instruction, even in places wherewe do not speak the language, such as India or Norway. We describe the activities, the ―ComputerScience Unplugged" Project, how we present the workshop, and some reactions from children, teachers and parents.
