Abstract

An all-optical reconfigurable high resolution microwave photonic signal processor is presented. It is based on a 2 × 1 electrooptic modulator and an active-fiber Bragg-grating-pair filter. Experimental results demonstrate a sharp bandpass filter response and a narrow slopband notch filter response which can be obtained by controlling the optical sources.
