Abstract
Using a model structure for a two-dimensional (2D) biexciton in a type-II superlattice, it is shown that the form of its Hamiltonian can be reduced to a 2D exciton Hamiltonian. The ratio of the binding energy of a 2D biexciton to that of a 2D exciton thus calculated agrees very well with the recent experimental result.
