Excitation transfer in crystalline solids

    Research output: Contribution to journalComment/debate

    Abstract

Processes involving the transfer excitation energy in doped or disordered crystalline solids are studied by calculating various rates of trapping and subsequent emission of phonons. The stimulated emission of coherent phonons in molecular crystals doped with isotopic impurities is also discussed.
