Abstract

[translation] The aim of the study is to investigate the influence of 3D printing parameters (layer thickness and infill density) on tensile strength and to obtain a regression model for predicting tensile strength through planned experiments. A factorial experimental design with two levels and three replications was applied. The input parameters varied at two levels: layer thickness (0.1 and 0.3 mm) and infill density (20 and 50%), while the output parameter was tensile strength. Statistical analysis of experimental data concluded that both parameters (layer thickness and infill density) have an impact on tensile strength, while the interaction between these two parameters does not have an effect. A regression model with a high coefficient of determination (R2) was obtained for predicting tensile strength.
