New equivalent continuously tunable high-resolution microwave photonic bandpass filter

Abstract

A new technique for implementing an equivalent continuously tunable high-resolution microwave photonic bandpass filter is presented.It is based on applying frequency conversion to the RF signal before and after high-resolution bandpass filtering. Experimental results are presented, which demonstrate the continuously tuning of a high-resolution microwave photonic bandpass filter.
