    Abstract

The presentation explores the collaborative process of co-designing an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Unconference, emphasising the principles of respect, reciprocity, and responsibility. The project was undertaken as a Student as Partners (SaP) initiative, involving students, staff, and community members working together to create a dynamic and inclusive event. The Unconference format, characterised by participant-driven content and open discussions, provided a platform for diverse voices to be heard and valued. Through the co-design process, participants developed a deeper understanding of EDI issues and fostered a culture of mutual respect and shared responsibility drawing on Dianati's (2022) 3C-3R framework.
