Abstract
Educational institutions and enterprises are carrying out enterprise competitions with simulative games aiming at challenging the know‐how and talent of students and employees. Simulative games aim at equipping students and employees with the necessary knowledge to improve their enterprise managerial skills. The success of these games is associated with high level of knowledge sharing. It is anticipated that the increase of the sharing of knowledge during the game activities increase the groups’ chances of winning over competitors. In this research, we anticipate winning the game highly is a result of the effective use of the students’ prior knowledge, expertise and lessons learned during their studies in previous years. The paper concludes, using the factor analysis method, that internal as well as external environmental support, goal‐oriented team learning, teams members’ characters as the three main factors which increase the knowledge sharing among the group members. The paper also suggests that, “The consciousness of reciprocity”, “Participants’ willingness to share knowledge”, “The ability to express knowledge” and ”Knowledge sharing consciousness” play an integral role for thesuccess of the team.
