Abstract
RESEARCH AIM
To develop a ‘typology’ of small towns (between 200 and 2000 people) in the Northern Territory using demographic and economic ‘well being’ indicators. This research brief draws on data from the Census of Population and Housing provided by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The study is part of a program of demographic research funded in part by the Treasury.
