    Abstract

The aim of this paper is to investigate the influence of powder quality (Eutalloy 10009 and Eutalloy 10185) and additional flame spraying with simultaneous fusing on abrasive wear resistance of coating. The results of abrasive wear resistance of coatings sprayed with powder stored for a longer period of time (required thickness was achieved by additional spraying) and results of flame spraying with a new powder (required thickness was achieved in one step) are compared and analysed. The “dry sand/rubber wheel” test was used according to ASTM G65-94 norm.
